Butxet Viticultors
It all began in 2003, when Llorenç Perelló planted his first vines in a corner of northern Mallorca, driven by a passion for wine and for the island's land. From that decision Butxet was born, a family project that has grown vine by vine, harvest by harvest.
The winery sits on the Son Morei estate in Muro, almost at sea level and a stone's throw from the s'Albufera nature reserve. That closeness to the Mediterranean is its signature: it gives the wines unique nuances, hard to find anywhere else on the island. Here they work with international varieties —Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay— alongside native Mallorcan grapes such as Manto Negro, Callet, Escursac, Giró Ros and Premsal.
Butxet makes wines "to enjoy": to go with good food, good scenery and good moments. More than a winery, it's a family united by wine, working in a way that respects nature. And yes, it's pet friendly — here your furry friends are welcome too.
