The history of Bodega Son Prim dates back to the early 1990s, when Jaime Llabrés left his antique furniture restoration workshop to start creating what is now Bodega Son Prim. At first, with experimentation based on trying different varieties and vinifications to, a few years later, involve the whole family to plant new vineyards. Some years later, in 2003, the works of the current winery began, next to the vineyards, and they finished in 2004.

They cultivate about 6 hectares of stony land and red clay, called "Call Vermell" in Mallorca, ideal for wine production due to good drainage and because it favors root growth.

The winery regularly organizes a series of events, private and public, always accompanied by its excellent wines.
